GNEE is now providing 420 annealed strip and slit coil for immediate sale in gauges from 0.005″ up to 0.035″. We offer extremely narrow width slitting capabilities to 0.024″ wide.
In addition to our specialty slitting capabilities, we provide special edging including; #1 round, #3 slit, and #5 square. Our winding options include ribbon wound coils, coils on cores, coils with flanges, as well as traverse/oscillate wound on spools and reels.
420 is a martensitic stainless steel with 12% Chromium. 420 is magnetic in all conditions and can be heat treated for hardening. This material is commonly used for cutlery, medical instrumentation, scissors, and blades. It has good corrosion resistance and is often ground and polished.
